Development of OR Orientation Prgram

First post to the group. Does anyone have an established or would like to share what type of orientation program they have at their facilities for novice to expert OR nurses? I am in the process in designing a program for my current facility. I felt this would be the best place to start. You know the saying "don't reinvent the wheel".

We use AORN's periop 101 course. It was classroom based when I went through it but has since gone to the online version. When through with the AORN course we spend two weeks in each of our services which equates to 24 weeks of being precepted. That's for brandy-new OR nurses. The experienced OR nurses get a more condensed version based on their level of experience.
