Devastated by Kaplan Trainer Scores!!

Hi. I started Kaplan two weeks ago and am doing Qbank and question trainers. My scores are:

QT1 72%

QT2 58%

QT3 55%

QT4 62%

QT5 58%

QT6 60%

QBANK average is 64%

I still need to do QT7, but I know they want you to get at least a 65. I take my NCLEX in two weeks and dont feel ready and am worried about these scores. I plan on doing all of them over for review. Does anyone else have any suggestions??

noooo my kaplan instructor says to aim for at least 60% on qt 6-7 and 65% on the qt 1-5 and all qbank questions. those scores arent terrible thats why they call them question trainers. kaplan questions make you think a little more sooo dont get down on yourself.

I totally know how you're feeling right now- I just finished my Kaplan course and so far my scores are in the same range as yours and I'm scheduled to take the NCLEX in two and a half weeks and I'd rather not push it back any longer. From the people who I talked to and from what I've read on these boards, those scores seem within the passing range for NCLEX. I retook question trainer 1,2 and 3 so far and scored in the mid 80s, so that may help you and make you feel more confident. Your Qbank score looks good though! I finally just got mine up to 61 a few hours ago and I was thrilled.

Just keep doing the questions over and over and over again until you get 100% and read all the rationales. My one friend who took Kaplan and passed the NCLEX on her first try swears by Kaplan- she said everyone in her class passed so I'm trusting her. I know it's frustrating..but just give it your all for the next two weeks. You're almost done!!! Good luck!! :heartbeat

My experience is the harder the questions the better prepared you will be for the nclex....... if you would be getting them all right you would not be learning anything..... Just keep cracking at them and get that average up.... you will do great... I would be more worried if you had them all right... you really would not get anything out of it then!! The ones I did were not Kaplan... but pretty hard and I passed the nclex with 75 qs and learned more from that than I did that last 3 days of the Drexel University Nclex prep course... the first day was useful though....

Man, I just did QT #4 and only got 50%!! I am SO bummed!! I was a pretty good student in school and can't believe that I'm so knowledge deficit!!

Guess it's good I've still got several weeks to go!!

ugh, i just got a 55 on QT7. I got a 58 on QT6. I think I went down b/c I was getting irritated w/ answering SOOO many questions! hm, if i get into the 200s during nclex, i might just get up, leave the test & go jump off a cliff!!!!!

omg!! I know o lose concentration after a certain amount of questions...!!! Thanks for everyones replies so far...
