Woke up and cried!!!!!!
How many hours did you study? My study time was limited bc I moved my date up so my study time was Thur and Friday night -- about 6 hours each night- I also took the Drexel Nclex excel course --- the first day was good info -- the rest was a loss of valuable time. What kind of NCLEX review did you take? I used a pearsonvue logo book that was yellow on top and blue on the bottom -- not sure of the author -- it uncludes the "Measure up" CD that simulates the Nclex and the questions -- they are very hard questions --- if studying the harder is better!!! Here is the measure up website: http://www.measureup.com/ I got their cd free with the book --- it is noted on the front of the book it is the measure up cd. How many questions of Q Bank did you practice? As many as I could fit in to the time I had.... I also did come kaplan questions for free online -- i did the questions on the cd until I got consistant 80%s Hope this helps and good luck Kristy RN

Devastated by Kaplan Trainer Scores!!
My experience is the harder the questions the better prepared you will be for the nclex....... if you would be getting them all right you would not be learning anything..... Just keep cracking at them and get that average up.... you will do great... I would be more worried if you had them all right... you really would not get anything out of it then!! The ones I did were not Kaplan... but pretty hard and I passed the nclex with 75 qs and learned more from that than I did that last 3 days of the Drexel University Nclex prep course... the first day was useful though.... Good Luck Kristy RN

Woke up and cried!!!!!!
I agree not everyone feels this way... It really depends on alot of factors how one feels. How they feel they knew the material, what other life stressors and anxieties may also be attached. For me I was starting my orientation for my new job the Monday following taking the test. I am sure I had some anxiety about that... about how my peers in my new job would see me and my bosses and managers would see me. How my classmates at school and my family would see me after I graduated with honors and failed the boards.... I would have had my temp practice permit revoked, been reduced to extern at work and it would have effected my family financially... bc we were looking forward to my income.... I could go on and on... I think my stress was related to all the factors I had riding on the result. The stress and anxiety was unbearable.... by Monday I was so convinced I had failed that when I thought my husband was not texting me back with my result I could not cry (he was actually just running our youngest to field hockey camp and forgot his phone at home and before he left it had not posted on pearson yet) -- what I did not prepare for was the fact I could have passed... so when I did get his text that I had passed I called to ask if it was really true and sobbed like someone died.... (totally out of character for me in a public place!) but the emotions just hit like a ton of bricks!!!!!! I am glad it was good news bc my orientation would have been unbearable if I had been correct.... my only disappointment is in myself for not trusting God that He had gotten me through the whole time... and letting my doubts take me over to the point my dog was so upset and depressed he would not eat all day Sunday! I really now a couple days later am just relieved... I am surrounded by GNs at work who have not taken it and see thier anxiety and stress and know mine is all gone.... today I actually pisked out a book I had neglected for 3 years to read for fun....... what a feeling... I have a real life now... and this is finally all over!!!! Thank God! Kristy RN

Pearson Quick Results
I got my results from Pearson on Monday after taking my test this past Saturday.... (I passed) The state BON website did not post my results until noon on Tuesday -- Had I had to wait that extra day.... I would have been ready to be sedated!! My husband checked them when I was at work and texted me my results while I was at work doing my orientation as an RN... Pearson had them up about 9:30 on Monday --- I tested Sat at 8am - good luck!!! Kristy RN

I took mine this morning (yesterday now) at 8am - 75 questions with shut off.... felt awful about it!!!! Alot of med calcs and they got hard! I just do not feel good about it and have to place my faith in God, bc if I did pass it was all Him! I graduated from a school with a 98% passage rate with honors and was at a 98% prediction of passing the first time on the ATIs... I took the Drexel course this past week ans did well on all their questions... got to the exam and felt I was getting beat with a bat!!! It took me 90 mins to do 75 Qs and I never take that long.... I was soooo unsure of soooo many... the only questions I think I did well on were the med calcs.... I don't know if I can bear it waiting to see if I passed!!!!!! I am dying... cant hardly eat.... crying alot... i start my job monday and I will be a wreck!!!! if i fail i disappoint my husband, my kids, my family, my friends, my school....myself!!!! I am a wreck!!! Pray for me.... I need it.... I am working on faith now and have to wait until Monday or Tue for results in PA... did I say the test SUCKS!!!!!!!!!! Arrrrrgggghhhhh!!! rnwannabe:crying2::imbar:eek:
