Hi! I have been working as a dermatology NP for the last 18 months in the Midwest. This was my first position after I passed my FNP boards, and at the time that I started my contract, I was content with the negotiated terms. I asked for a contract re-eval at 18 months (since my contract is for 3 years due to the initial training period), but my contract states that at 18 months, I'll be given a "formal performance evaluation".
I don't know what to expect from this, though I feel I've been performing well (as in my Collections are on track to meet $400-$450k this year).
Does anyone know if this performance eval would be an opportunity for me to re-negotiate some of the contract terms like salary/bonus structure, CME $, vacation time, etc?

I would certainly ask on your position especially if the performance eval is good.
