DePaul MENP Program Summer/Fall 2018

Hi there econtoRN! I submitted my application for the fall cohort at LP back in November. I took the GRE and received a 162 verbal, 159 quantitative and 4.5 on writing, but I'm not really sure what DePaul is looking for as far as those scores go. Hopefully they'll be high enough to justify my average grades on the pre-requisite courses, because while I come from a highly competitive school, they could definitely be better.

Hello! I'm applying for the summer cohort. I'm in a similar position though as my grades are average in most people's terms, but I went to a top 15 private school for undergrad. DePaul actually let me submit my application late, so I'm sure that complicates things for me as well since they'll probably view other applications first. I'm not even sure if I really want to attend DePaul as I was originally only looking at ABSN programs, but I'd like to have it as an option.

Anyone else get an email saying your application was incomplete and wouldn't be reviewed? I got one early this morning, and then they sent out another email stating that was false and decisions would be released soon. I checked though and my GRE scores are missing still, so I'm a little nervous. I emailed them to explain why my scores haven't made it (took the GRE recently so the final deadline they gave me was still in the 10-15 days of receiving my official scores). Hoping this doesn't completely disqualify me.

I doubt the two issues are related. I received the same email and frantically called admissions-- apparently they sent out that email to the entire applicant pool. She did say that I shouldn't expect to hear a response for another 6 to 8 weeks though, so it seems like the waiting game will be on for a while.

I got the email this morning too. I submitted my applications in early December, but I actually got an "application incomplete" email several weeks after I submitted in the first week of January, too. The first time I got the email, I called them right away. They told me it was just a computer error-- they had received everything. You should be okay!

That's good to know! I was in class most of the day, otherwise I would have called them instead of emailing. Hopefully everything is fine! I'm so anxious to hear back from them about a decision for summer.

I applied for the fall 2018 cohort. I submitted my application just before the January 15th deadline. I also received an email saying my application was incomplete but had a nearly immediate follow up that the previous email was an error and that everything was complete. I am finishing my last pre-req now, which is which I opted for the fall cohort instead of spring. The GRE was waived for me. Crossing my fingers I hear positive news soon! Can someone post when they hear decisions being sent out?! Thanks and good luck to all! :)

Best of luck to you! I'm finishing up my last two pre-reqs this semester, but they'll be done in time. I don't know if they release summer and fall decisions at the same time, but I'll update when I hear back.

Congrats @laurenmac89 !! That is awesome, when did you submit your application? I applied for Fall 2018 as well.
