DePaul MENP Fall 2017

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello All!

I am a career changer looking to apply for DePaul MENP Program for the Fall of 2017. Im looking for any insight in terms of the application process. I have a degree in Science Education. I graduated with a 3.48 so I meet the gpa requirement.

Unfortunately I did not do so well on the prerequisite courses. I'm looking at

three C's and a B+. How ironic considering I teach science! Had a pretty rough start to college but no excuses here!

Are there any applicants that have been accepted with similar grades? How are these viewed/weighed by the college? Does anyone recommend taking the GRE if not needed? Any application advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello! I have not heard back yet but I am eagerly awaiting...rumor has it decisions are made mid to late Feb, perhaps even early March. Is this your top choice?

Me too -- so eager to hear back! Yes, probably my very top pick!! Was also looking at Rush but didn't have prereq's done before the Fall application deadline. Was accepted to Loyola's ABSN, but I like that DePaul is a Master's program. Is DePaul your top choice?

I had the exact same situation with Rush! I applied to DePaul, Northeastern, Simmons, Marquette and . DePaul is definitely one of my top choices though! I have yet to hear back from other schools yet (fingers crossed its not bad news)

Hey! I applied for the Summer 2017 cohort but it had the same deadline as Fall, I haven't heard back yet either & am also very anxious!!

Are either of you active on the campus connect portal they gave us access to? Apparently there are ways to see if you're admitted based off of that (without decision posted online)

Yes I've been checking Campus connect daily but it just says application status complete. I've been checking my email much more frequently

What tabs do you see? there are some that I am able to access which make me hopeful (I don't recall seeing them there before). Like the e-pay tuition page, and a welcome page under the admissions tab. However, on the other hand I am able to see an immunization tab under the student center but it doesn't give me access to view it

Oh wow I think that means you got accepted!! Because I don't have an immunization tab or e-pay tab yet. Check the admission status! When did you apply?

YAY I really hope so! I applied through NursingCas so it still says "application incomplete" despite the fact that it is (I checked with admissions). So I guess I have to wait for the post? Fingers crossed...decisions should be coming out very soon though so I hope we both get in!
