Hey all I've created a Facebook group for all those accepted & planning to commit to the Summer 2017 Lincoln Park cohort! The group is called "DePaul MENP Summer 2017 Cohort" :)

Congrats simone! I talked to a financial aid counselor and she told me: "Since the Summer quarter is an optional term for most of our students, we do not automatically package students. We will send you an email sometime in April when the Summer financial aid application is available. Once you complete the application via campus connect, we will then put together your financial aid award package Closer to that time, we will also have your 2017/2018 award package available to you. The award package outlines your Cost of attendance according to your anticipated enrollment. Since the 2017/18 award year isn't as near, and since you can't combine a private loan to cover summer and the 17/18 school year due to them being in two separate loan periods, I would wait on applying for them until you have been awarded for the upcoming school year."

Congratulations ccliff!! My name is Kathryn btw :) may I ask what your plan is for housing? I'm starting to look at apartments near campus but it looks like the June start timing will be tricky you know?

Thanks! I received the email first, which says to expect a packet in the mail soon. I submitted my app the night before the Feb. 1st deadline

I could be wrong, but I think you'll receive an email first followed by a letter in the mail if you're accepted, but just a letter in the mail if not accepted.

So your application is complete but haven't been accepted or denied yet, is that correct? Yes I received a financial aid info packet in the mail a couple moths ago, when I had started but not yet submitted my application!

Oh wow I think that means you got accepted!! Because I don't have an immunization tab or e-pay tab yet. Check the admission status! When did you apply?

Yes I've been checking Campus connect daily but it just says application status complete. I've been checking my email much more frequently
