declining an assignment

Hi there, from an about to be first time traveller. I have one simple question. Have you ever phone interviewed with more than one place and had to make a decision as to which one to decline and which to accept? I have interviewed at 2 places and honestly don't no how to say no to one. (Typical nurse, eh!). Please let me know your thoughts ASAP, recruiters want a decision by Friday.

Have a good one from the snowy north

Happened to me. I make a list and write down the good bad with each position such as floating, on call, hours worked, holidays, weekends, shift rotation, private housing, items paid for by agency, travel time, apartment location if you have it and such. That always helped me.

I agree with renerian!

Luckily, I have interviewed and been offered jobs at my first choice ever since starting. I have never had to make that decision.

But I would think you would make the decision just like you made when you picked the agency you would travel with. Write down all the pros and cons about each assignment on separate pieces of paper, and then..............THROW THEM UP IN THE AIR! The one that lands with the words up, THAT'S THE ONE!!!:roll

No, seriously, go with your gut instinct!

Good Luck!

Copper your too funny! Tossing them in the air LOL. Sometimes if the assignments are both good it is a toss up.
