Hello All,

I am at the beginning of my school journey and hope to enter the official nursing program next January.

My biggest question is where are the best places in Texas to find a NICU position for a new grad. I have a toddler daughter and as a single mom I need to find the best place for us that has good resources and preferably a large homeschooling community. We will be leaving where we currently live as soon as I graduate and the only place I really really do not want to be is in Houston.

Any advice is very welcome. Thank you!

    Anywhere that will hire you. I applied to 50-100 hospitals for a NICU position (many in Texas) and only got 2 interviews. Fortunately, I got offers from both. It can be difficult for a new grad to get a NICU position. What is your Plan B if you can't get a NICU position?
