Was anyone else told that you would have to travel to the college if you did the Web_based LPN-RN program? I was told I'd have to come eac semester. Anyone know anything about this? Thanks

After each clinical semester, you will have to go, as I posted above. I'm not sure if there are exceptions to this or not.

Thanks alot Lisa and good luck!!! I just can't decide if this is for me. I live in central Alabama and I work full time as a school nurse. Keep me posted on your progress! Dana :)

Dana,
I have been talking to an Erin Kelly at Deaconess about their BSN program. She's an admissions rep there. Here is her email addy: [email protected] and here is the ph# for admissions there: 1(800) 942-4310. They have been pretty helpful to me so far. They do contract with local preceptors for your clinicals, and you can portfolio out of any applicable clinical experience if you have experience in that area. Like you may be able to portfolio out of community health, since you're a school nurse. It can't hurt to ask them, anyway. Good luck!
