Deaconess Clinical Evaluations

Can anyone tell me exactly how many times you have to go to St. Louis to do your clinical exams, and is it possible to go somewhere other than St. Louis to do them? Like, do they have site locations around the country? I left a message at the begining of the week with them, and no one has called me back.

Thanks for any replies in advance!!

You have to go there x6 for the ASN program. You have to go to the school - they don't have any other locations set up for validations.

I just spoke with an admissions rep about this. I don't have my materials in front of me to tell you the specific courses, but you have to go after completing certain courses which were around 6 as NICURNtobe indicated.

I'll list the courses after I get home tonight.

The rep also said the normal stay is around 4 days and the school tries to schedule them Thursday through Sunday. The school will also help you find hotels in the area.

They finally called me back and said that it would be 5 times now that they have adjusted the program, and although they are thinking about making alternate test sites, you still have to go to St. Louis for now. Too bad its so many times .. that really makes or breaks the program!

I have another thread about online ASN programs -- please if you know of any other ones, PLEASE let me know!!
