This is my first time posting. I was recently "indicated" by dcfs for something regarding my daughter. I was NOT convicted by police and nothing happened to my daughter...someone in a store called the police saying my daughter wasn't being properly supervised for 15 minutes. I do have the right to appeal it and try to get my name off the registry. However, I have been told by a few lawyers that this is "an uphill battle", and so I'm having my doubts.
This is a devastating blow to say the least! I have absolutely no record, criminal history, etc.
I am supposed to graduate from nursing school in May 2015 and I'm not really sure if I will even be able to take the NCLEX, let alone get a job.
Does anyone have any experience with this?!?!
Thanks in advance!
