Dallas/Ft. Worth

I start nursing school in the fall and I am curious about the working conditions that are out there in the DFW and Ft. Worth area. I guess by "working conditions" I mean the atmosphere in which you work. Is there anyone that can say they work with a great group of nurses? I am an older student and look forward to school and getting out in the workforce; I certainly don't want to work in an unfriendly or hostile environment. I have read that some nurses eat their young. I'm not young by any means and would most likely not put up with that anyway. I'm just curious about the hospital you work at and if your happy with the people you work with.

To be honest, I have encountered more passive-aggressive, tattletale female coworkers in nursing than in any other career field in which I've worked. I've simply found more cooperation and solidarity in other fields of employment.
