Cutbacks affecting nursing care

I am a nursing student that will be graduating this May. I am doing a research paper on healthcare cost causing cutbacks and how that has affected nursing care. I am wanting to know if any of you nurses have experienced this first hand. For example with losing your job due to cutbacks or maybe not having adequate PPE. Just trying to get an idea of what is happening out in the real world. Thanks

(seriously. call 'em up and make an appointment. you'll get an a and all your classmates who think just asking an online forum will give them all they need will get cs. )they will be able to explain it to you.

    Spend some time searching outside the circle of nursing. Realize that those directly in middle to upper management nursing administrative roles, are often those that spout the "party-line du jour" and often from a myopic perspective of knee-jerk, patent answers .
