Current CSULB Nursing Students?

I am a current high school senior, and I have been accepted as a pre nursing major to CSULB. I am valedictorian in my high school, however I'm nervous I won't be able to do as well in college.

I understand that I have to do my prerequisites before applying to the nursing program.

For those accepted what GPA did you have for your prerequisites? Was it difficult, but manageable? Also, how long did it take to complete the prerequisites? (How long did it take you to be in the nursing program from entering as a freshmen?) Did you have to reapply to be accepted?

I got accepted to UCI nursing. I'm debating whether I should attend CSULB or UCI. Since UCI is direct entry that makes it a simpler process, however CSULB would be a more convenient school for me to attend. But, I wish I could go into the future to see if I got accepted into the nursing program at CSULB.
