CSUSN Winter 2015 Applicants

Hey everyone! :)

I understand that me posting a forum about the Winter 2015 applications is really early. However, I am having serious doubts about being accepted into the nursing program.

God willing, I will be applying with a 3.64 GPA and my TEAS score is not definate at the moment. I am taking the exam on June 20th at Loma Linda.

I thought we could all connect here and post our stats. I know that I am not the only one freaking out about now. :confused:

P.S: Could someone give me advice for the TEAS test? I've been studying the ATI study guide and also bought the McGraw Hill book. I just feel like giving up now. :dead:

    Hi Jean,

    First, you may want to edit the title and put CSUSB. I was having a hard time trying to figure out the school. I was also thinking CSUN or CSUSM.

    Anyway, CSUSB is a school I am looking at here at their Palm Desert campus. I would be looking more like a Winter 2016 candidate though as I will have my RN prereqs done next summer. I will be following this thread.

    Good luck and checkout out the TEAS subforum, there are a lot of good threads on their and be sure to post your TEAS experience!

    I'm also looking into the CSUSB Palm desert campus in case I'm not accepted into the nursing program.

    As as for the TEAS test I'll post up my experience. I can't believe I'll be taking the exam in less than 3 weeks.!

    I would be applying to the program with a 3.53 gpa and a overall score of 43/54 of the points for entry and I dont know of my odds on getting in. I want to know if anyone knows of people who have gotten in with that type of gpa its a bit discouraging and makes me think I could possibly be the only one with that low of a gpa lol Please help!

    I have a friend who is in the nursing program at CSUSB right now. She applied for the winter quarter as well and her stats were the following:

    Prereq GPA: 3.4 and TEAS score was 82%

    She did recommend me to score at least a 85% on the TEAS. Hope it helps! Good luck to both of us! :)

    The application for the nursing program won't be available until September 1st of this year.
