CSUSB Fall 2019 BSN program

It is early, but I thought I would start the discussion now for Cal State San Bernardino's BSN program for fall of 2019 so we all have time to discuss and answer questions before the filing period ends April 2nd, 2019! This is for both the Palm Desert campus program and San Bernardino's main campus.

I am applying to the Palm Desert campus since I am a Riverside county citizen and it is only a few miles from my home :).

  • As of this past filing period and onward, the school no longer considers letters of recommendation or volunteered/paid work experience.
  • At the nursing info session I attended, we were told they are only accepting your first TEAS score. If anyone has heard conflicting information to what I've written above, please let me know!

My current stats:

Pre-requisite G.P.A = 4.0

Overall G.P.A = 3.9

My G.P.A is based on the assumption I get an A in my microbiology class this spring

-I took three years of Spanish in H.S

-I am taking the TEAS in February and will update my score the second I get my results!

-I applied to CSUSB and will update my admissions result when I get confirmation.

Good luck to everyone!

Literally had the same reaction I was expecting some fafsa notice n I looked at it for 10 mins like WHATTTTTTTT

I honestly reread it word for word about five times to make sure it wasn't the campus telling me again I was accepted into the university as pre-nursing. I've already scheduled my physical so I can get my titers done. I have no idea where any of my immunization records are. ?

Congrats!

Congrats to you too hunny!!! I got my amazon package too and saw the letter I’m like hmmmmm what could this be hahahah

I got into SB campus. Will the dept be open tomorrow?

To everyone that has received their acceptance, Congrats !!!

It seems that everyone who has gotten their letter so far is a SB country resident..

I live in Rosemead, close to Los Angeles. Do you think this makes a difference in receiving the letter later than you guys?

I just want to know YES OR NO at this point ?

I'm a Riverside county resident ? But SB city is the nearest mail hub for my city so that might be why I got mine so quickly even though I live next to the PD campus. Depending on where you live, your letter might be sent a roundabout way to a different city for processing before going on the route to your house. It'll probably come in a few days! It took 10 days for a letter from my boyfriend to arrive even though he only lived 20 miles away.

I'm lucky I even got mine! They entered my address wrong on the envelope and it could've been returned as undeliverable ?
