I am still waiting to see if I was accepted into the Fall 2018 program. Have you already heard back from the School of Nursing?

I got my acceptance letter on March 14. Orientation is at the end of April. Hmmm check your spam and your CSUN email. Did you get an email in January about them receiving your application???

I checked my CSUN email and my spam but there was nothing there. I received the email in January that said they received my supplemental application. I am not sure why I haven't heard back yet.

That is weird. Also my csun portal says, "Your file is being reviewed for admission by the Nursing department." I will give them a call. They should have sent you something. My friend go accepted also. But she might be rejecting it, because of her schedule.

I was told that you have to be accepted to the university first. Then, the university will notify the school of nursing so that they will be able to review the supplemental application. You may have just been admitted to the university but the school of nursing has just started to review your supplemental application.

I got an direct email from them: "We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into the CSUN RN-BSN program, beginning Fall 2018. Please carefully read the letter in attachments and return the Statement of Acceptance form to me by April 27th, 2018. We look forward to having you in our program!

When I sent an email to ask how the admission process works, I got a response saying "The university (CSUN) will notify you if you have been accepted to the university. You will receive a separate notification (usually a letter) informing you of your admission status to the nursing program, so yes, there are two separate notifications." The best thing we can do at this point is give them a call and find out if there is anything we are missing.

I already filled out my form that I agree to attend orientation for the RN-BSN on April 30. I suggest you call the nursing department directly. Good luck!

Hello again! Just wanted to let you know that I got my acceptance letter! :)

Yeah!! Congrats! What day did you pick for orientation? Also have you taken your NCLEX?

I am going to the May 1st orientation day. I haven't taken the NCLEX yet but I am planning to this summer.
