CSULB application process

Hello allnurses, I am very new to this website and my apologies if this question should be posted elsewhere!

I just had a few questions about CSULB's application process for those that may have been in my situation. This spring (2014), all my pre-reqs for CSULB's nursing program will be completed. The part where I am a bit confused would be that I am not eligible to apply to their Spring 2015 semester until August 1st of 2014. Should I be applying to the university for Fall 2014 right now even though I would not be starting at that time, or should I apply to the university in August to start spring 2015 (same as the application period for the SON)?

Thanks for the help! I appreciate it! :)

For Spring Entry, the University application is open from August 1-August 31.

Hope that helps!

My CSULB daughter didn't get accepted for Fall 2014 unfortunately. So we are still waiting for CSUSB and CSU Bakersfield. If we don't get accepted there, we will apply for spring 2015. She will complete all her last pre-req classes this spring 2014. I have heard CSULB Spring 2015 will be easier to get it. Anyone has info on points, cutoff, and admission rate from last Spring 2014? Hope we have better chance this time. We will also apply to other CSUs and possible some local CCs(ADN). Any helpful info to consider is greatly appreciated.

CSULA is the easiest to get into. Did she apply there?

We didn't apply at CSULA (as my kid didn't have time to take TEAS last year and CSULA only offers in Fall not Spring) but we are waiting to hear back from 2 CSUs for this fall. If not favorable result, will apply to a few CSUs and local (good) CCs for Spring 15. Thanks J Friday
