Hopefully someone out there can help me with this.
I've been looking at CSN's nursing program and am trying to find out whether or not I have enough points to even have a chance at getting into spring '08 term. I calculated that there's a max of 61 points that one can accumulate: 30 for required prereqs, 22 for support classes, 2 for health care experience, and 7 for the NLN. I haven't taken my NLN yet and I'm having my transcripts evaluated right now so I'm not sure if I can substitute BIO189 with another class yet. Right now I have a total of 38 points. For those of you who have already been accepted to CSN, is that enough points or should i be taking more support classes for more points? How many people apply every spring term and how many of those get into the program?
thanks! :)

You're talking about College of Southern Nevada right? (Want to make sure because there are probably other schools with the same abbreviation.)
I went to UNLV, but I know people who went to CSN. So many people apply every semester, I think the last number I heard was that you need to be somewhere in the 50's to compete with the other applicatns. Completing your pre-reqs is a big help.
Good luck!
