CSN and NSC equivalent classes

U.S.A. Nevada

Published

I am currently enrolled at CSN, but am taking Bio 223 at NSC and PSC 101 at CSN via online. I was told I was crazy to do both due to both are really hard. I heard that I could take a history class at NSC that would be equivalent to CSN's History/PSC 101. Does anyone know what the courses at NSC are that would satisfy the History or PSC requirement? I also was told NSC's history is easier than PSC 101 at CSN?

I don't think you're crazy to do both. I took Bio 223, Bio 251 AND Psy 101 while working full-time at CSN. It was challenging and I had no social life, but I managed. As far as history at NSC, I'm not sure. I took Hist 101 (US History) and Hist 217 (NV History) at CSN over the summer along with 2 other classes and a full time job and I got 3 A's and a B that summer. The history classes were online and super easy. I have heard that PSC is tough and I'm glad I didn't go that route.

I have been rethinking the HST and PSC thing and have been seriously thought about swtching and taking the two HST instead of PSC. Thank you, your post helped!

I think it is ch203 at nsc

Thanks, I will check it out

I took PSC 101, HIST 101, and Hist 102 at CSN. I did HIST 101 and 102 in the summer with different instructors. They were both easier than PSC 101, but check out the instructors for HIST at CSN because one was almost too easy. I had the course pretty much finished in 2 weeks.

The instructor I had for Hist 101 (CSN) allowed us to work at our own pace. I finished a 4 week course in like 3 days. I learned nothing, but I got an A.

Thank you! I just signed up for HIST 101 with --------. Wish me luck as history is not my thing and I am doing it in conjuction with BIO 223 :/

You should be fine with those 2 classes. History is super easy so you can focus your time on Biol 223.

So are pretty much any of the instructors for the history classes needed for the Nevada history requirement easy? I thought knocking both classes with the PSC 101 would be better and cost-efficient but looks like I rather pass and pay more lol

I should change that to history was super easy for me. Both of the instructors that I had were easy. I can't say that for all of the instructors. There a a ton of history classes so that makes a ton of instructors. I can't say they're all easy. Pm me and I'll give you instructor names that I had. I definitely took it because I heard that the 2 history classes were easier than PSC and it was true. And I have some interest in history and zero interest in politics.
