CSN 2017 ADN program!

Hi everyone!

Who among you guys are going to apply for the 2017 track? Either Spring or 2017!

What classes are u still doing? Have you guys attended the Health Orientation already? I'm about to attend mine tom! I'm transferring credits from other school, and looking at the degree sheet, I need to take 5 classes more so all the Prereqs and Gen Eds are all done (after the 5 class)

Lets help everyone whose trying to get in and might help each other out on whoever is trying to get in as well!

Good night

I'm only going to have 28 :/ . I'm finishing two classes this semester. What about you two?

I'm done with all the prerequisites, took the Kaplan, and am ready to apply. Just waiting on my appointment with a health programs advisor to ensure completion of the application. I believe I will have 40 points? Close to it, anyway.

I saw a group on another popular social network, but it only had one member so not sure if it's new or what. Is there another place for 2017 hopefuls to chat? This doesn't seem very active. :(

Hey guys! I took the Last KAT Saturday and passed everything except for Reading :( . I have every class done as needed 223/224/251, everything on the sheet needed. I know this is pretty much my ticket (KAT) to get in. I know there's a Memo, but I got a 50% in reading and I can not test for 3 months but apps are due at the beginning of March for Spring 2017. Anyone have some suggestions, should I still try to apply? I know I can take the TEAS as early as March 17th. any suggestions. I am so bummed! Anyone in the same boat?

There is a Facebook page, look for CSN Fall 2017 Nursing Students

Allnurses is all I know about. There is a newer thread CSN SON 2017 I think it's called.

It doesn't hurt to try! I am only applying with 28 points, but I figure it is better to get try then wait when I could have gotten in. Good luck!

I haven't heard of very many people applying for the fall term. That's odd, actually, since that is usually the most difficult term to get into. Is everyone going full time or part time? Do you have any classes left to take while you're waiting for the selection process?

Did you receive a memo? Are they still giving them out? I passed everything except the science portion by 5% so I made the cut off with the memo. I plan on using it for fall 2017.

Also has anyone taken the new TEAS yet. I wonder if they will be giving out memos for the test as well. I'm done with everything, literally every single class, turning in my application on February 1 and I'm SUPER nervous they will not accept my memo b/c of that one Science portion. I've been waiting so long for this moment.

I heard from the advisor he is pretty certain they are giving memos for fall 2017. He said it will be the last semester.

I am applying for full time. I met with the advisor, and he said there's a pretty good chance I'll get in with only 28 points, so maybe not that many people are applying.
