Csc review guide

Hello Guys,

Can you suggest some good study materials for csc certification. What books can i use to prepare and is there any practice questions like pass ccrn for CSC?

xyzrn29 I am curious if you have taken the exam? If so, what did you think about it? I am scheduled to take it in less than two weeks and feel like I am not prepared. I have used two different study tools. The first one has been the AACN CSC review and the second one is Nicole Kupchiks Ace the CSC book. I have focused more on Nicoles book than I have the AACN review. Any thoughts?

The AACN has an online review course. That is all I used. I passed the exam first try. You also get a bunch of CEU’s when you complete the course. It was excellent. One piece of advice though. My experience did not do well for test questions b/c My CV surgeons do things a little different. So relying on the science and questions were more important than my experience taking open hearts. Know the science behind the medicine!! Sounds common sense but it’s amazing how often we default to the experience.

So you only used the review guide the ACCN provided for the CSC or CMC? And how long did you study for ?

I personally studied for the CMC for 2 weeks. The CSC I believe I studied for 3-4 weeks. Passed both on the first attempt.

I purchased the official review course from AACN and trying to take it in a couple weeks.
