Hello everyone!
im an RN and my license is in good standing with the Board of nursing but I have a felony larceny theft arrest on my record , no conviction. Happened 3 years ago. I was made an offer by a hospital and is now being asked to submit to a background check. I'm nervous I'll be denied employment based on my background. Any advice

I'm assuming you had your felony cleared with the board before getting your license? or did you acquire it after you received your license? Some would say be forthcoming, others will tell you not to say anything and let the background check speak for you. It is your choice. Ultimately you just have to play the cards you are dealt. If its not this hospital then keep applying until you find the right fit for you. Best of luck!
Thank you. This happened after I got my license. My license is clear as I wasn't convicted. I spoke to the BON and it's clear and active.
