cpnre sept 12

i wrote the cpnre (bc) on sept 12. does anyone here know how they determine who pass and who fails? is achieving 75% correct answers enough to pass? it's been only 3 days but it feels like eternity waiting for the result already... :uhoh21:

at last the long wait is over. i got the result today and yay i passed!!!:balloons:

Congratulations on getting results that quickly. I had to wait five weeks for mine at the turn of the century (I've wanted to use that line for ages)

Nobody really knows what the passing mark is. Some questions are thrown out, others are placed in there as "test" questions to see if they will work next year.

One instructor told us that the %required to pass changes with every exam.

Just remember, employers want the PASS piece of paper, they don't care about the actual mark scored.

Fiona59 is right, employers do just want that piece of paper that says "Pass". Here in Ontario, if you don't pass the exam, any new grad position will be revoked, if you work in any hospital. If a new grad is in a nursing home, the home may keep you as aide until you pass the exam.

congratz,,,no result yet here in ontario
