CPNE wait times

From the time you submit your CPNE application you are looking at about 8 months until they notify you of when you will be testing, which is usually 3-6 months after that.

You can always call and try and find a cancellation date. I did that. I submitted my application in August of 2016. Kept calling and in the middle of February I was told a new site opened up on Wisconsin and I could go a week and a half later. I took that testing date. If you do call for cancellations they will give students that have been waiting longer first chance. So even if there is a cancellation if you just submitted your application a month ago, its highly unlikely they will give you a cancellation date, unless there may be only a couple of days before the test and they just want to fill it.

I do know they are constantly trying to add more hospitals to the list. I look at it this way, if there is a long wait they must be doing something right if they have this many students that have made it through the program to actually take the CPNE.
