CPNE study question

I am just starting to study for the EC CPNE. I am taking the CPNE begining prep conference, CPNE care plan conference, CPNE documentation online conference and the CPNE skills online conference. I purchased the skills kit with wound, the flash cards and the flash cards audio CD. I tried to decide which was better to do to prepare. I decided not to do a workshop. Anybody out there pass doing the above or did I make the wrong choice? Advice welcome. Thank you!

A lot of people pass without a workshop! But my advice is this: set up a dummy patient and skills lab somewhere in your house (I used our spare bedroom) and prepare to spend time there! Talk to your dummy, too. :D I found that verbalizing (which I was taught to do in paramedic school anyway) was a great advantage for me in practice and during the real deal.

Regarding the audio flashcards -- she's harsh on the speakers -- don't turn it up too loud! She sounds like she's eating the mike sometimes, I swear. LOL
