Hey future RN's!
If you are reading this right now, I'm pretty sure you are just as anxious as I am to get into the program. It has been a long journey for me, but I am almost ready to submit my application, all I have left to do is take the TEAS test. For those of you who have recently been accepted into the program, I'd appreciate it if you could take the time to answer the following questions.
1. Did you complete most of the prerequisites included on the application? If so, how many?
2. In regards to the TEAS, what was the most challenging thing? Any tips?
3. Did you submit your application early or close to the deadline?
4. What were your scores for the TEAS and application points?
5. How is nursing school at CPCC so far?

Hey, I was interested in applying for the spring semester as well. I seen that it's more info to your question on another forum that's titled "CPCC Fall or Spring 2017" the ladies posted the scores they made in order to get in which was about 46, 47 and up and the lowest I seen was 38 and the highest was about 48 (but she made under the min for the math section for the TEAS), so she didn't get in sadly. Overall I seen that majority of the folks completed all of the prerequisites and the application was more toward the deadline.
I believe I may have read the same thread. If I make the minimum 80 for reading and 70 for math, my application score will be about a 42. I'm really hoping that I am able to get in. Have you taken the TEAS?
Not yet. I was thinking about attending Gaston college (previous bachelor degree waives the TEAS). I really need to start studying for it. I'm literally starting from scratch (Cna, teas, prerequisites) lol.
Oh wow, that's lovely. Having to take the the TEAS is absolutely torturous. I'm really dreading it. I have about a month to study. Don't feel bad, it has taken me FOREVER to check things off of the checklist. I literally took the CNA course 3 times and never went to take the state test to get certified, until recently. I've been a huge procrastinator my whole life up until this year Lol Wherever you apply, I hope that you get into the program and accomplish all of your goals. You got this!

Hello!
I applied for the Spring 2018 start at CPCC and it has been helpful to read these posts!
To answer your questions, yes I completed all of my pre-requisite classes and on my TEAS test I got a 78% overall with a 100% in reading and an 87.5% in math. My application score is 54.55
Good luck to everyone and I can't wait to hear back from the program!
Oh wow! You did awesome! I'm pretty sure you are going to make it into the program with those scores!

So I see we're among the next batch of anxiously waiting applicants. I submitted an app as well with an 84.7 on the TEAS and app score of 51.6. I do wonder if there is a large applicant pool like there was this time last year though. Good luck to everyone! I hope we all get in!

Hi everyone, I have also applied for the Spring 2018 term. Now I'm nervous after reading some of the great scores you all have... I am missing the Eng114 pre req and both of my A&Ps are too old to use (7 years old) so I am missing a couple of pre reqs. I had a 77 overall on the TEAS (the science portion killed me) but an 81.3 in math and 89.4 in reading. My overall application score was a 46.91 and I'm so worried that I won't make it in... I finished my Bachelor's in Public Health in 2015 and then kind of hit a financial block that prevented me from continuing school. Best of luck to everyone! I hope we all make it!
Check your emails guys! They sent out acceptance letters this evening!
Yeah they did! Congrats, I got in too!
