Coworker help

I work in a nursing home and i love my residents. they are my extended family. One of my friends (coworker) called and asked me a question about my partner (other coworker). My friend asked if my partner is mean to the residents. I replied with not around me but it has been bothering me since my friend brought it up. My friend said One resident says that my partner goes into her room, turns off her call light and walks out without saying a word. My friend also reported it to her charge nurse. Here is the thing...I know he goes in here and gets her light then will tell me to go in there because i understand the resident better (she is very hard to understand) but i thought that he was at least communicating with her! Am i supposed to talk to my partner about this or should i just let the charge nurses handle it? No one cares much for my partner including myself. He is a know it all and makes smart allic comments constantly. He is also bossy. Our charge nurse doesn't like him and wants him to moved off our hall or off our shift. Should i talk to the charge nurse about what my friend told me? She had already reported it but I think i am feel better if i talk about it too... Am i just over reacting? I don't like the idea of my residents being ignored like that.

Don't stir the pot. Unless you see it you shouldn't report it.
