what is the average courseload i might have to take some gen ed classes along with my nursing classes:uhoh3: could you guys tell me what types of schedules you had.

If it's possible, I would finish all your general Ed classes before applying to nursing school. I couldn't imagine taking more classes than what's required for nursing school. Actually I can imagine because I did and I wish so bad that I didn't have to take them along with my nursing classes.

Our schedules changed weekly in the first term. 2nd term, my clinicals were evenings, thurs/fri, lecture Mon/tue, tests every other friday, lab monday afternoon, professional nursing class a few random afternoons. If you can find an on-line general ed class after the first term or semester, that would be best. The first term at most schools throw a ton of reading at you at the get go and trying to keep up with that and another class may cause severe hair loss.

haha thanks i was thinking about chemistry, intro to nursing, nutrition and a gen ed course. But i see that i should finish them up first
