:lol2: Finally after a long wait (since November boards) I got my acceptance and assignment: June COT then to Eglin AFB (my first choice).

Midinphx, I hope you are the next one to hear the good news, because things seem to be moving now for experienced nurses. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll be going to the same COT.

hOORAY!!!!

When did you hear?! Wow. I am so excited to hear this for you. Now I will be klinging to the stupid phone all the time again. Eglin is on my list as number 4.

midinphx- i hope you hear soon too!! your attitude has been so inspiring- i wish you were leaving with me next week so your positive vibes would rub off on me!

Midinphx, I heard yesterday evening ... Somebody posted somewhere that they were processing in March the experienced nurses that applied to the November and December boards, or maybe it was a rumor I've heard ... anyway it looks like it will happen soon for the rest of us left untaken care of.

RninSCarolina,

Tell - us: how long have you been a nurse and what kind of nursing do you do, and have signed up as. What is your rank?

Thanks everyone for the support! This is RnS thread and her turn to be excited and shine! This is such an exciting and life changing decision and move. It is really awsome to share with people of like minds. (sorry if I'm sappy, I'm reading a Nicolas Sparks book. lol)

Midinphx, I've been a CVICU nurse for 2 years, so I'll be going in as an O1 (butterbar) with the critical care suffix

And you'll get one year TIG (time in grade) as well, which is good for making O2 a year quicker.

CONGRATS!!! This is the same thing that happened when I applied to the AF last year.
