Correcting Name on NCLEX

Hey all,

I had a question regarding name changes with the BRN. I am not currently licensed, nut plan on taking the test at the end of this month. However, one thing is really bothering me: the last name that the BRN has on file for me is missing one letter.

Will this affect the process of me attaining licensure in any way? My Kaplan instructor says that my ATT name and the name on my IDs have to match exactly. But does the name on my BRN app have to match exactly as well (i.e. will this be an issue)?

Any insight or similar experiences would be GREATLY appreciated!

    Just to be safe email your BRN or call them to let them know..if they mistyped your name they will for sure change it in their system right away..that happened to me too..:)
