Not many people know about the California corpsman/LVN to RN challenge, it might be a good idea to institute this idea in other states, especially with the nurse crisis at hand. Even though we have no degree, we have the knowledge and skills to handle any situation. Anyway I challenged the board and have been an RN for a year working telemetry/progressive care. I am trying to find out if any other states will give me reciprocity for this type of license. Thanks all, and hang in there, it has got to get better....

The issue is endorsement, rather than reciprocity. States will endorse your license if you meet their criteria. Multistate licensure is in progress in certain states around the country. Check with the individual boards of nursing. There is a section on Allnurses home page for state boards of nursing.
