What are some interventions/teaching you could do for a patient with long-term COPD, on continuous oxygen? He already knows oxygen precautions and to rinse his mouth out after using inhalers.

Teaching on pursed lip breathing, avoid using chemicals for cleaning, avoid triggers such as dust and fragrances, how to clean nebulizer equipment, what to do in case of emergency or power outage, PT/OT for ADL/IADL retraining, use of incentive spirometer, the list goes on.
