Hi, im just wondering if i can still go back to the nursing profession after 10 years. I still have a philippine active RN license but havent used it since 2007. Thinking of starting a nursing career in Australia with my family. Im working as an English/IELTS instructor for a long time now. I don't know where to start. Currently I'm working in Japan.
Thank you in advance.

First, you should check to see if you're eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia).
Second, apply for registration.
Third, study at an approved bridging program and hopefully get your registration.
Fourth, apply for jobs. This is the difficult bit. The job market is currently saturated with new graduates and other internationally-educated RNs wanting a slice of the pie. It is best to gain some clinical nursing experience first prior to even thinking of moving to Australia.

You won't meet the regency of practice requirements to be licensed if you have not worked as a nurse in 10+ years
