how about a toast to all the servicemen and women that have been involved in the war on terror. me along with some other fellas from the 155th brigade combat team will hit the local "honky tonk" tonight to celebrate the demise of that s.o.b bin laden. the first round of toast will be made to the ones who have fallen while fighting the good fight and to their familys and loved ones, the 2nd toast will be to the operators that took his ass out!

Nothing by smiles and hollers at the VA hospital last night when we found out.

I haven't had my toast to the fallen or the heros yet... but I will. And RN1980, I'll add one for you and the 155th!

There are great days as a VA nurse, and then there are those that you will never forget. The joy in the eyes of those young vets last night, the silent pride as a group of men watch the President's announcement, and the tears...

The same as the day when Saddam was captured...the smile of my intubated patient when I whispered it in his ear...

I was sitting around watching TV with 2 other army nurses when we all found out. It was wine and Mike's hard lemonade all around and Eric Clapton til 0200.

Congrats to those of you who have been in this fight a lot longer than I have. I'm proud to join your ranks and partake in a victory for our people, our nation and the world.

A facebook status from last night:

"It has been confirmed that the hide-and-seek master of the world has forfeited his title and has safely arrived in hell".
