Confusing online RN-BSN process

Published

Okay, I'll say it.... OMG!!!!!!! Really do I really want my BSN? lol.

I need some answers already.... how much and what do I have to take! Chamberlain called again this week (3 times) to tell me if I take one class and get the hospitals reinbursement I will only have to pay $300 payable on..... I stopped listening because all I could think was..... THEY HAVEN'T EVEN EVALUATED MY TRANSFER CREDITS!!!! I was leaning there way, but I've had to sign papers already and I have no clue what I'm in for. That makes me a little nervous. I made them email me that the paper I was signing was in no way my intention to attend, pay for or be responsible for classes or advisement at Chamberlain. I printed it, saved it and will use it if I have to... lol.

I have one business college I attended who can't find my transcripts, of course, after they took my fee for sending them.

I've applied to 3 other programs and I've only heard from one. I applied to another one tonight because I'm becoming unsure of who wants want. So I thought I'd spritz some gasoline on the fire.

I'm already unsure if I've chosen "good" selections in my applications and now I'm stuck in a twilight zone! I just keep spending money to spend money.

I'd planned to spend the day today calling and actually speaking with a few humans but got called into work because, go figure, the medical assistant called off again! What will it be this time (she calls off 1-3 days every 3 weeks with a bogus FMLA)? I work full time 4 -10 hour days or so running an outpatient oncology clinic. I only have one day a week to track this stuff down when offices are open so I guess it will be next week. After this, online learning should be a breeze. Chamberlain might get my mula because they are wearing me down .... but I also don't know what I will have that will transfer there.

What have I gotten myself into. :uhoh3:

Don't let yourself be pressured. You want to investigate thoroughly and go with the best program for you.

Specializes in EMS, ED, Trauma, CEN, CPEN, TCRN.

Just be firm with them and tell them you are on a fact-finding mission only, and that you will not commit until you see the entire scope of what you'll have to take after ALL your credits are evaluated. :)
