i am confused, please help !!!

Hi

I am an Indian citizen, currently in US as an international student on F1 and studying nursing. Right now, I am doing my ADN degree. However, I have heard about the retrogression and what I understand by that is, that I will not be able to work here in US after my graduation (i.e in 2011). So, I was thinking of moving to Canada and study nursing there but I am confused and have lot of questions.

1. Do they accept international students in the nursing program ?

2. If they do, can I be able to find jobs ?

3. When will I be able to apply for PR ? , as I have heard that if you study in Canada for one year then the student can apply for PR. But can the student apply while still studying or after completion ?

4. can I apply for PR after a bachelors degree ?

I will be really thankful, if somebody could answer my questions.

I believe to practice in Canada you have to have a BSN or something clinically the same. An associate

's degree does not allow a nurse to immigrate. Also Canada has been impact by the financial crisis, plenty of good posts on the Canadian section here.

thanks for the reply

that exactly my question was that if I do BSN (from Canada), then can I be able to apply for PR after that ?

As long as you meet PR requirements then you should be able to apply. Have you read the CIC website? I find that site very clear
