Conflict Resolution

Hi!

So I have to write a paper on conflict resolution regarding a patient accusing the nurse of inappropriately touching her during a bath. I have the employee (accused nurse), the employer and the patient involved. I understand win/win, win/lose and lose/lose, I'm just trying to find realistic examples of each as to what the patient, employee and employer would do in this situation. For example can the patient sue? Making that a win/lose. Or would the employer fire the employee and pay for the patient's medical bills? Also a win/lose. How can I make everyone win?

Thanks in advance!

So you are just asking random people on a message board to give you an answer that you are willing to put your name on and turn in to your professor? You don't even know if the people answering are actual nurses. And why would you trust that for a GRADE. Can a patient sue? A patient can sue for anything they want. Would the employer fire the employee? Sure? Maybe? Yes? no? All employers are different.

Your definition of "win" may be totally different than someone else's. Think about what you are asking and if you need quantifiable data. And you need to define "win". Your best bet may be to do the assignment to the best of your ability the way your professor instructed you to.

What are your thoughts in this example ?
