I am looking to start the lvn program in september but was wanting to know if there is anyone that is currently enrolled in the program and how is the schedule ? Are they flexible with the hours? Would i be able to work part time thanks !
And I'm really curious to find out how the program is and is the job opportunities as bright as they say they are?

The LVN job market became tight in the D/FW area about five years ago. You could certainly find a job if you have some inside connections or are exceptionally good at networking to your advantage.
thanks for the response so maybe if I can get hired at a nursing home before finishing the program would probably enhance my chances since I am currently a CNA?

I did the LVN program thru Concorde 10 years ago in San Diego and other than working weekneds I have no idea where you could work. Our classes where Monday-Fri depending what days we had clinicals. Hours were 8-5 pm and clinical days 630-3pm. Good luck not stop at that, I still cant go back to school and finish my RN .
