Comparing salaries...

Around 59K in FL with 5 years of research experience and two specialty certifications. I used to make more in phase I but I love my current docs and patients.

I agree...loving the docs you work for definitly make a difference in the field of research since one works more closely with them then if you were on an inpatient hospital unit. If you don't mind me asking, what are your specialty certifications?

I'm a new grad starting my first CRC position and was offered a salary of slightly more than 35K??? Is this typical of a new RN with zero research experience???? This is in NC/SC and the entry level pay for new grad RNs is sadly only slightly more. I'm curious if this is accurate, from what I've read on here and found on Salary.com the pay is a lot more!?

From what I have found research coordinator positions pay less than floor positions. I have been pretty lucky with salary however one of my colleagues makes slightly less than I do and she has been a nurse for 15+ yrs. She would definitely make more in the hospital. So if starting RN salaries are in the 35-40K range in your state then the number you quoted sounds par for the course.

Well DON'T TELL, but I was started out at $51K, with one year RN experience and no research experience.

When posting salaries, I think it's best to say what state you're in. Costs of living vary greatly from state to state. Just my opinion.
