Combining Nursing Classes

Hi! I'm trying to figure out my schedule for the rest of this school year & need a little help. I have A&P2, Microbiology, Statistics & Chemistry left to take. How would you pair up these classes?

I've been told that pairing science classes together is a bad idea. In total there are 6 semesters left (these semesters are including "mini mesters" like winter semester & maymester) for me to finish up my classes. I plan on applying for nursing school next year as well. Any advice you can give me is appreciated! Thank you for taking the time to read my post as well. (=

If there are 6 "semesters" left for you finish all of these, why don't you take them one at a time? Are you worried about which order to take them in, or which classes to take together to avoid the short semesters? Just trying to understand :) I took A&P 1 and Chem together. It wasn't too bad. Not as hard as taking two nursing classes together, that's for sure! I also took micro as a 5 week summer class - it was a very tough 5 weeks. Probably more stressful than 2 nursing classes at a regular pace. If I had to do it all over again in 6 semesters, I would take statistics first, then chem, then A&P, and finally micro. I would not do micro in a short semester again if I could avoid it. :twocents:

Thanks for the advice!(= I'm worried about which classes together because I want to avoid the short semesters if possible.

I would suggest taking A&PII first the sooner you take it after A&PI the better because you have to rely fairly heavily on what you learned in A&PI. I would take either Stats or Chem with that and then do the other with Micro the next semester.
