Hello!
I am planning on applying to 3 central Ohio BSN programs for 2009. They are all very competitive, so I am trying all three in hopes that I get into at least one!!
They are:
-Mount Carmel
-OSU
-Otterbein
I would like to hear from those of you who have attended these schools or have heard a lot about them.
Which is the best? What are the pros and cons? Any comments about these programs are welcomed! :)

I go to OSU and actually just changed my major, again, to nursing. They're pre-nursing program seems very simple and it appears as though you'd get out in about 4 years. I know some people who went to Otterbein. They enjoyed the program but I wouldn't recommend it unless you get a lot of scholarships. It's quite pricey. I contacted Mt Carmel but no one really got back to me. That's why I stuck with OSU.
I've heard great things from all of them. I've met a lot of nurses and doctors from Mt Carmel and they are all wonderful people. It seems as though it would provide a better work environment. If you like football, definitely go to OSU. I don't think this helped a whole lot, but might give you a little bit of direction. Just ask yourself how much you are willing to spend and which programs will benefit you and your needs the best. I would lean towards OSU though because of their accredation.

Currently attending Otterbein Continuing Studies in the Nursing Program and it is cheaper than Mt. Carmel. They encourage you to get your pre-req done at CSCC (it is a great school and much cheaper), then go to Otterbein for a few more classes and all of your nursing. It is a small, private college and the staff is great! They do have fiancial aid, so as far as the BSN program is the question I would check out Otterbein. They also just built on a brand new nursing department with huge labs and practice labs!
