Hello everyone, my name is Jenifer and I applied to the COD ADN program for Spring 2022. I would like to compare my stats with whoever else applied. I’m a little bummed I didn’t do great on the TEAS so my points aren’t that high. I would love to talk to anyone who applied as well!

Hi Jenifer! I also applied for Spring 22 at COD. How many points did you apply with?

Hello! I applied with 51 points. What about you?
48. I don't know what the average is since it is the first semester with the new point system but I feel like my points are super low

Don’t even worry about it my friend and I are on the same boat. I know at least 3-4 people who have points in the 60s that applied for Spring 2022 as well. Hopefully we can make the average cut. Fingers crossed but I’m not that hopeful. I just wanna know already!
HOW do they have that many! I somehow only got 48 with a 4.0 science GPA, 82% on TEAS and points for being an LVN. What really messed me up is getting 0 points for regular GPA because I got C's in English 1A and College Algebra a million years ago when I was 18.

Literally every one of them got 15 extra points for having a bachelors Lmao. Wow you have really good stats tbh! I barely passed the TEAS and I messed up my 4.0 GPA bc I got a B in A&P II. I don’t have any extra points for section one. I’m in a CNA class RN so if I don’t get accepted hopefully I will for fall with the extra points I’ll get! Did you apply for the regular RN program or the LVN-RN? Also have you applied to any other schools?
Well in that case hopefully not all applicants have that many points! LOL I applied to both so we’ll see. Someone in the nursing admission department told me for Fall 2021 almost all LVN-RN applicants got in because they got their own cohort but for Spring 22 there’s probably 2-5 spots ? just my luck LOL & no I only applied to COD so all my hopes are in one school

Haha that’s what I’m hoping! I know there’s 27 seats available for the RN program and I thought there was only 3 for the LVN-RN but who knows! I hope you get into one of the programs!! It seems like your chances are better for the LVN-RN. Do you know of anyone else who applied? It’s been so hard trying to find people to compare points with LOL. I know some people also applied and are waiting on other schools so COD Isn’t their first choice! I try getting some hope from knowing things like that ?
Hi Jenifer just checking in on your status! I got an email today I got offered an “alternate” seat for Spring. What about you?

Hello! I was accepted! I would definitely not lose hope because I’m sure some accepted students are going to decline their seat if they got into another school.
That’s amazing!! I’m so happy for you. The email says if someone declines or drops out I have a seat and if not I have a seat for Fall cohort so either way I’m happy!
