CNA

ok. So I had a cage and 4 screws put in my L5 level of my back. I used to work for a nursing agency going into nursing homes making between $15-$19 per hour depending on where I went. I am still on a 25lb weight restriction 6 months post op. Im sure I cant go back to that agency since I sued their workmans comp. my question is. I wanna go back to work doing what I did because I made good money. I live in PA. what should I do..... I wanna get around that pay again so I can get back on my feet more and get out of debt. what nursing agencies are the best to work for and what should I do go with an agency that u go into nursing homes. or should I find one that you go into a rehab hospital type setting then its less lifting. im only 35. im also working on getting my emt certification back so I can volunteer again cause I loved it. hope this all makes sense

Is there another agency? In my very rural area, there are several agencies.

Ugh, I don't know if I would look for a typical CNA job, hospital or nursing home, if

you can only lift 25 pounds or less.

I would maybe consider an agency that hires sitters; or maybe consider working in

a psychiatric setting as a Mental Health Technician. Just until you no longer have

any restrictions.
