Hello all, pleasure to be here!
I am currently a pre-nursing student whose finishing up her CNA program. I've just finished up with clinicals at a local nursing home.
A job in a healthcare setting is my next goal, for the time being. I have no job related experience in a healthcare setting. I was wondering how would I go about diving into a healthcare field that is clinical. Also, would there be a way for me to begin working as a "CNA in training" even though I have not taken my state test yet?
All answers are highly appreciated.

You need to be licensed as a CNA, before you can start working as a CNA.

Some long term care facilities hire non-certified nursing assistants here, not sure if they do in your state, but it sounds like you want to do something in a different kind of environment. If you want to do something more "clinical" like a doctor's office, you likely need to get certified as an Medical Assistant as most MD's offices don't use CNAs. You might also look into hospitals for a more acute setting than an LTC or ALF.
