I just got into the Nurse Aide program. I'm excited...does anyone have career advice or tips? What should I know about being a CNA that they may not tell me in class???

Congrats and welcome to Allnurses.com! There is a CNA forum under the "students" board tab with lots of information. Go say Hi, and I'm sure you'll get lots of helpful advise. :)
thanks!

If your school offers additional courses in EKG and phlebotomy, take advantage of it. Most that have done this have gotten positions as a Patient Care Technician/Associate at hospitals. And, phlebotomy is a good skill to have. I am an LPN now, and still draw blood frequently.
