CNA salary

Hi! My family is considering a move to north or south Carolina due to my husband's job. I just started as a cna and I wondered what the salary is? What pays better long term care or hospital? Thanks!

    Hello!

    I am currently a nurse supervisor at my rehabilitation and long term care center in Upstate South Carolina. I work for one of the two largest companies around here and the CNAs make $8/hr. They do not consider your past experience. Apparently, there are so many CNAs looking for work there is no demand. CNAs that have been there forever are making over $10/hr because they were hired at better times, years ago. I have heard the other large company, which I have also worked, at starts their CNAs for about the same thing. Hope this helps!
