3-5 years depending on whether you enter an associates, diploma or bachelor's program. Whether you have any existing college credits that can be applied to pre-or co-requisite requirements. Plus application processing and passing the NCLEX.

I also have a few questions I have an associates and I meet most of the criteria for nursing school. I have a ton of experience as a cna and I have been told numerous times I'm overqualified as a cna. But I was thinking of trying for novas nursing school after a semester of getting the last few credits out of the way. I was wondering if you had any tips? Thanks a bunch!!

A CNA certification that took a couple of months to obtain isn't going to shave significant time off your schooling. Do you have any prerequisite coursework completed?

You need to inquire with the school. I do no know what novas is.

I am under the assumption that 'novas' may be shorthand for the nursing program at Nova Southeastern University in Florida. If so, I am sure the nursing program secretary at the school would be happy to mail out an informational packet that answers most questions.
