CNA renewal???

Hey... I am a Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) but my certification expired last May. During the two years that it was valid, I wasn't able to work, but is there anyway for me to renew my certification? What steps should i take or will I have to take to be able to get re-certified and be able to work? Please respond if you have ANY idea :) Thanks a million!!!

What department in your state is responsible for certification renewals? Since rules vary somewhat by state, they would be the best folks to ask. Usually it's a subset of the Department of Health (Division of Long-term care, etc.)
